“So many people talk about rock these days; the problem is they forget about the roll.” – Keith Richards
“So many people talk about country these days; the problem is they forget about the Western.” – Frank Miller

Lexi Castle
Lead & Backing Vocals
Ms. Castle is a force of nature. Her voice and command of the stage are simply stunning.
Influenced at an early age by her grandmother, Lexi has been amazing audiences since she was in pigtails.
Ms. Castle has an incredibly varied vocal background, making her the perfect front woman for Three Forks Junction. She makes every melody better, every show an event, and every song a hit. She has performed with various choirs, jazz and rock bands, with the a cappella all-Disney song group (Westbeat), in Burlesque, and as a hired vocal hook in hip-hop songs.
Ms. Castle is a native of Orange County.

THREE FORKS JUNCTION
On a warm summer’s evening in 1938, legendary bluesman and songwriter Robert Johnson was poisoned and killed (via whiskey) at the juke joint in Three Forks Junction, Mississippi. Rumored to have sold his soul to the Devil at the Crossroads for his otherworldly ability, some say it was a Hellhound which came that night to claim the Devil’s due. These anecdotes were further bolstered by the near-supernatural influence he had on the landscape of American music. Covered by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fleetwood Mac, the White Stripes, and the Rolling Stones (to name a few), his music is heard almost everywhere, but his impact is unparalleled.
August 16 is the day he died, but it is also the day that modern American music was born. Three Forks Junction may be the location of the most significant death in American music history, but it is also the birthplace of musical Americana.

Dom Hirota
Lead & Backing Vocals
Dom is the youngest of eight siblings, all of whom are incredible singers. He quite literally started singing before he could talk and learned to harmonize while he learned to walk. To say that song & melody are infused in his being is not hyperbole.
In addition to his amazing voice, Dom also lends his expertise in improving existing melodies, finds that perfect note in a harmony, and writes a lyric here and there.
Dom is a native of Orange County and also plays in Cheap(er) Date with 5 of his siblings. They are a mainstay of many local SoCal establishments and Catholic charity events.

Amanda Duncan
Drums, Percussion, Keyboards
Amanda is a more than a drummer for TFJ. In addition to providing our rhythmic foundation, she also adds that last flavor of melody via her mallet station (a keyboard she literally plays with her drum sticks). Yes, she plays two instruments at the same time, using all her limbs like an octopus.
Besides the amazing music she does with Three Forks, she also performs orchestral, jazz and island music, in addition to recording/performing with Pan Rocks LA, a 40-member steel drum ensemble.
Ms. Duncan holds a master’s degree in Music and is a teacher of steel band, percussion, handbells, music theory, and jazz. She is a native of Long Beach and continues to perform all over SoCal.

Frank Miller
Guitars, Ukulele, Banjo
Frank is the architect of Three Forks Junction. In addition to playing multple stringed instruments with TFJ, Frank writes, arranges and produces its music.
Frank also composes classical music and has worked in all genres at one time or another.
He is a native of Orange County.

Sam Montooth
Bass, Backing Vocals
Sam is a prolific bassist and vocalist, and has been and in-demand sideman for the better part of two decades in Southern California. His knowledge and technical ability have made him much sought after for string orchestras and jazz bands, and his original jazz compositions are favorites of both musicians and others in the scene.
In TFJ, besides his excellent bass playing, Sam’s vocals provide icing on the cake. In arrangements, he is often instrumental (pun intended) in providing the proper tweaks to make all the pieces fit.
In addition to his work with TFJ, Sam is the strings instructor for Fairmont Private Schools and plays with scores of other musicians, including his steady gig with the fantastic Ron Kobayashi. Sam is a native of Long Beach, CA.
